Eddie Gran talked about the scrimmage on Saturday, the offense coordinator was disappointed with the execution on 3rd down and short but said the offense was 5 of 6 on 4th down. On his QB he said, “Drew was efficient.” Gran spoke about the offensive tackles including Landon Young. As a whole he said, “That group is really smart.” Gran said the team was a little sluggish today, but Coach Stoops addressed that in advance of a two a day practice tomorrow. When asked about leaders Gran mentioned Jon Toth and Drew Barker. Gran called Toth, “our dude.” There was a short update on both Boom Williams and Sihiem King. Gran seemed happy with the depth at running back and that seems to be pushing guys to stay on the field, or as he put it, “you can’t make the club in the tub.
