In the First Half

  • Kentucky started the lineup of Isaiah Briscoe, De’Aaron Fox, Malik Monk, Wenyen Gabriel and Bam Adebayo for the seventh time this season. That lineup improved to 5-2
  • Monk made a 3-pointer at the 17:10 mark, extending Kentucky’s streak of 3-pointers to 988 consecutive games, the longest streak in the nation
  • The Wildcats started the game shooting 7 of 9 from the floor, getting out to a 17-7 start by the 16:01 mark
  • Kentucky’s backcourt of Monk (8), Briscoe (6), and Fox (8) combined to score 22 of Kentucky’s first 36 points
  • Kentucky entered the game with a season-high of 21 fast break points in a single game. The Wildcats scored 18 in transition in the first half

  • Freshman Malik Monk scored a game-high 34 points
    • It’s the school record for most points by a freshman in an SEC road game
    • He scored more than 30 points for the second time this season
    • He joined Jamal Murray as the only freshman in school history with multiple games of 30-plus points. Murray had three such games last season
    • He’s the first player to score 10 or more in 13 consecutive games since Murray scored 10 or more in 34 consecutive games.
