College Basketball is officially back. Tuesday the No. 2 Kentucky Wildcats will travel to the world-renown Madison Square Garden where they’ll match-up with the No. 1 Michigan State Spartans.

All-time Kentucky is 13-11 against the Spartans with their last match-up coming in the 2016 Champion’s Classic in a game that saw then ranked No. 2 Kentucky defeat No. 13 Michigan State by a final score of 69-48. Their only previous meeting that saw both teams ranked as the two best in the country came in the 2013 Champion’s Classic when second-ranked Michigan State upset No. 1 Kentucky.

Both teams shell short of their ultimate goal a season ago as Kentucky lost to Auburn in the Elite Eight while Michigan State fell to Texas Tech in the Final Four.

Ahead of the highly anticipated match-up Kentucky head coach John Calipari, point guard Ashton Hagans and combo guard Immanuel Quickley met with the media to talk about their preparation.
