After a big victory over No. 1 Michigan State Tuesday, the No.2  Kentucky Wildcats (1-0) are set for their regular season home opener as they’ll play host to the Eastern Kentucky Colonels (1-0)

It will be the 12th meeting all-time between the two programs with Kentucky a perfect 11-0 against EKU. The two teams last met in 2015 in a game that saw the Cats win by a final score of 88-67 at Rupp Arena.

While Kentucky took down the No. 1 team in the country in their season opener Eastern Kentucky handled business of their own as they defeated Chattanooga  by a final score 79-68 on their home floor in Richmond.
