The No. 14 Kentucky Wildcats (11-3, 2-0) will look to extend their winning streak to four Saturday when they play host to the Alabama Crimson Tide (8-6, 1-1).

Alabama comes to Lexington fresh of a statement 30 point victory over Mississippi State in Tuscaloosa.

The Tide are coached by Nate Oats, who is in his first season at Alabama after spending four seasons as the head coach at Buffalo.

While at Buffalo Oats coached against John Calipari and the Wildcats in the 2018 NCAA Tournament round of 32. Kentucky won the game by a final score of 95-75.

Alabama and Kentucky faced off twice last season. The first meeting came on Jan. 5th of 2019 in Tuscaloosa, where the Tide upset the Wildcats in the first game of conference play.

Kentucky would get their revenge in the SEC tournament when they took down Alabama by a final score of 73-55 in the quarterfinals.

Friday Calipari, Ashton Hagans and Nate Sestina met with the media to preview the upcoming matchup with the Tide.
