There will now be three Kentucky Wildcats featured in the 2020 NBA All-Star Game.
Per multiple reports, Devin Booker will replace Portland guard Damian Lillard in both the All-Star Game roster and three-point contest.
Booker joins Anthony Davis (Lakers) and Bam Adebayo (Heat) as former Wildcats will take the floor during All-Star weekend’s main event.
The 23-year old is already viewed as a superstar by many will be making his all-star game debut and participate in his second three-point shooting contest (won in 2018).
Booker was considered one of the All-Star game’s biggest snubs as he was left off the original roster despite averaging 26.4 points per game with 6.3 assists and 4.2 rebounds. Now, he will have a chance to play with the NBA’s elite for the first time in his already impressive five-year career.
The All-Star game will take place at the United Center in Chicago at 8 p.m. EST Sunday.
