Kentucky Wildcats forward Nate Sestina has been named to the 2020 SEC’s Men’s Basketball Community Service team.

The Wildcat graduate transfer is one of 14 players in the league to be honored for exemplary service to their communities.

Off the court this season, Sestina has participated in packing lunches, distributing to a local school and playing backyard games with a local elementary school as a part of God’s Pantry. 

He has also spent time reading to students at local elementary schools, been a part of the campus clothing swap and served as the basketball representative on the Student Athletic Advisory Committee.

Sestina is averaging 5.6 points for the Wildcats this season, with 3.7 rebounds. He is pursuing a master’s degree in sport leadership.
