After a dominating 24-2 victory over Mississippi State, a pair of Kentucky Wildcats collected weekly honors from the SEC for Week 3.

Outside linebacker Jordan Wright was named the SEC Defensive Player of the Week while punter Max Duffy was named the SEC Special Teams Player of the Week.

Wright recorded six total tackles with four being solo and two coming as tackles for a loss, got to the quarterback for a sack, broke up a pass and grabbed an interception he returned eight-yards for a touchdown.

Duffy punted eight times in the win pinning the Bulldogs inside the 20-yard line three-times while booting three punts for over 50-yards. He also helped prevent a potential Mississippi State touchdown by kicking an aborted snap into the back of the end zone for a safety in what would be the only two points of the game for Mississippi State.

Wright and Duffy are the first two Wildcats of the 2020 season to take home any type of weekly honor.
