Just over two years since Wan’Dale Robinson flipped his commitment from Kentucky to Nebraska, the Frankfort native has decided to become a Wildcat.

Friday, the wide receiver/running back and former Western Hills High School star announced he will transfer from Nebraska to Kentucky.

Playing as a wide receiver and running back, Robinson found an immediate roll in the Huskers’ offense upon arrival in Lincoln. In 2019, he played in 10 games with 40 catches for 453 yards and two touchdowns while adding 340 rushing yards and three scores on the ground.

In a shortened 2020 season, he made 51 catches for 461 yards and a touchdown while rushing for 240 yards and a score in just eight games.

Due to NCAA transfer rules, Robinson would need an instant eligibility waiver to play for the Wildcats last season unless one-time transfer legislation is passed.
