The Kentucky Wildcats have landed their second former Michigan State Spartan of the offseason from the transfer portal as wide receiver Tre’Von Morgan announced his commitment to UK Monday morning.

Morgan joins linebacker Luke Fulton who signed with the program last week as the second former Spartan to join the Wildcats this offseason and is the fourth transfer UK has landed from the Big Ten joining Nebraska’s Wan’Dale Robinson and Penn State’s Will Levis.

Morgan is a 6-foot-7 wide receiver who signed on with the Spartans as a four-star high school prospect in 2019.

He redshirted in 2019, not appearing in any games and in 2020 played limited snaps as a redshirt freshman, making two catches, with one being a 26-yard touchdown grab.

Morgan gives UK much-needed receiver depth and the tall target the team missed without Ahmad Wagner in 2020.
