Just a few days after Lynn Bowden Jr. was named the Paul Hornung Award winner, another Kentucky Wildcat has taken home a national honor.

Thursday, punter Max Duffy was named the 2019 Ray Guy Award winner presented to the best punter in college football.

Duffy is an Australian native who played Rugby in the Australian Football League before coming to Kentucky in 2018.

The 26-year-old averaged 48.6 yards per punt this season, which ranked fifth in the country, hit a 70-yard punt and against Missouri ran for a 26 yard gain on a fake punt.

Duffy is the first Ray Guy Award winner in the history of Kentucky football.
