The Kentucky Wildcats will be getting a crucial part piece to their defense back in 2020. Sunday, nose tackle Quinton Bohanna announced via twitter that he’ll return to Lexington for his senior season.

The Memphis, Tennessee native chose to sign with Kentucky back in 2017 over Memphis and Ole Miss, among others.

In his first three seasons with the Cats, Bohanna has recorded 48 total tackles with seven tackles for loss and two sacks. He has also defended two passes and has both forced and recovered a fumble.

The 6-4 361 pound lineman will lead a loaded group of interior defensive tackles in 2020. Marquan McCall, Kordell Looney and Abule Abadi-Fitzgerald will all join Bohanna in returning next season while newly added five-star signee Justin Rogers and several other highly rated defensive tackles will join the team.

Bohanna is the second junior to announce his intentions to return for a senior season as offensive tackle Landon Young announced Friday he would also be back in Lexington next fall.
