After a massive road victory over LSU Tuesday, the No. 10 Kentucky Wildcats now hold a two game lead in the SEC over a trio team tied for second.

One of those teams sitting two games back is the Florida Gators will be traveling North to meet take on the Wildcats at Rupp Arena Saturday evening.

The meeting between Florida and Kentucky will be the first of two in the stretch of 14 days as UK will travel to Gainesville on March 7 for the regular season finale.

Last season, the Wildcats swept a two game regular season series from the Gators, but that comes just one year after Florida swept both 2018 matchups.

Florida entered the 2019-20 campaign ranked sixth in the AP Poll but has struggled to live up to those expectations.

While currently unranked, the Gators are on one of their best rolls of the season entering Saturday as they’ve won four of their last five games.

In each of their last three games, Florida has posted double-digit victories with their most recent win coming by 14 points over Arkansas.

While Florida is hot, Kentucky is surging. The Cats have won nine of their last 10 games, including coming out victorious in each of their last five.

With another SEC showdown a day away, Kentucky’s John Calipari, Immanuel Quickley and Nick Richards met with the media to preview the matchup with the Gators. Hear from all three Wildcats below courtesy of The Boot Store.
