After blowing a 17-point second half lead to the Tennessee Volunteers Tuesday, the sixth-ranked Kentucky Wildcats will be back in action Saturday when they travel South to take on the Florida Gators.

The matchup with Florida will be a rematch of a Feb. 22 game at Rupp Arena that saw UK take down the Gators 65-59 after Immanuel Quickley scored 26 points.

Since then, the Gators are 2-1 as they defeated both LSU and Georgia but fell to Tennessee in Knoxville on Feb. 29. The Wildcats are also 2-1 since taking on Florida as, before their own loss to the Vols, UK took down both Texas A&M and Auburn.

With a victory Saturday, Kentucky would clinch a season sweep of the Gators for a second straight season. If Florida wins, they will secure the second seed in next weeks’ SEC Tournament in Nashville.

Friday, Kentucky’s John Calipari, EJ Montgomery, Keion Brooks met with the media to preview the matchup and discuss Tuesday’s drama surrounding point guard Ashton Hagans.
