We have a winner! In a bracket of 32 players, second overall seed John Wall edged top-seeded Anthony Davis by one vote to take home the honor of the best Kentucky Wildcat in the John Calipari era as voted by the fans.
In one season at Kentucky, Wall led the Wildcats to a 35-3 record and both SEC regular season and tournament championship. Wall averaged 16.6 points per game with 6.5 assists and 4.3 rebounds. He was named a consensus first-team All-American, 2010 SEC Player of the Year and the Adolph Rupp Trophy winner which was awarded to the top player in college basketball until 2015.
As a result of his terrific season, Wall was drafted first overall by the Washington Wizards in the 2010 NBA Draft and since has been named an all-star five times.
