After a breakout senior season Kentucky‘s Calvin Taylor is off to the NFL. Taylor announced on Twitter he is joining the Pittsburgh Steelers as an undrafted free agent.

The 6’9 edge rusher had a monster senior season as he recorded a carer best 9.5 sacks with three forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and four passes defended.

Taylor was named the SEC defensive player of the Week after recording two sacks and a forced fumble in Kentucky’s 2019 victory over Missouri.

In Pittsburgh, Taylor will compete for a spot on the Steelers defensive line and reunite with former teammate Benny Snell Jr. and work alongside former Cat Bud Dupree in the defensive line room.
