Another Kentucky Wildcat is entering his name in the transfer portal. Rivals reports Marvin ‘B.J.’ Alexander will be transferring from UK after just one season.

Alexander played in three games as a redshirt freshman for the Wildcats in 2019 coming in blowout victories Missouri, Vanderbilt and UT Martin. He did not make a reception in any of these games.

The 6-3 wide receiver chose Kentucky over Wisconsin, Syracuse, Central Florida and others in 2018. He redshirted his entire true freshman season.

Alexander is the third Wildcat to enter the transfer portal since last Friday. He joins defensive lineman Cavon Butler and his high school teammate Davoan Hawkins.

The decision comes as Alexander is buried behind the likes of Josh Ali, Bryce Oliver, Allen Dailey and Clevan Thomas on the Cats depth chart. UK also has two receivers committed for 2021 in three-stars Chauncey Magwood and Armond Scott and four-star Dekel Crowdus expected to join the list next week.

Alexander will need an instant eligibility waiver to play next season at the school of his choice to avoid sitting out a year.
