The No. 10 Kentucky Wildcats opened their long-awaited 2020-21 with a convincing 81-45 victory over the Morehead State Eagles at Rupp Arena Wednesday.

With Keion Brooks out with a leg injury, not one player that played for the Wildcats last season suited up for UK Wednesday.

Nine players found the scoreboard for the Wildcats, with Brandon Boston leading the way with 15 points while Terrance Clarke (12), Devin Askew (12) and Davion Mintz (10).

Julius Dixon and Johni Broome led the Eagles with 11 points each, while James Baker scored 10.

Kentucky will be back in action Sunday when they take on the preseason A10 favorite Richmond Spiders at Rupp Arena.

He will look to find consistent minutes off the bench for the Wildcats this season.
